TAMAR BRAXTON HOSPITALIZED AFTER ALLEGED SUICIDE ATTEMPT

R&B singer Tamar Braxton has reportedly been hospitalized following an alleged suicide attempt.

The “Braxton Family Values” star, 43, was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles Thursday after she was found unresponsive, The Blast reported Friday.

“Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days,” a rep for Braxton told the outlet. “Please pray for her.”
Braxton was at the Ritz Carlton Residences in downtown L.A. with partner David Adefeso when he found the “Let Me Know” singer “unresponsive,” sources told The Blast.

When he called 911, Adefeso said that Braxton had been drinking earlier and had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills.
Braxton, the younger sister of Grammy-winning singer Toni Braxton, is reportedly stable though still unconscious.

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that a call about a “medical emergency” had been placed from the Ritz Carlton Residences Thursday. The LAPD was not able to share any additional information.
Representatives for WE tv, the network that airs “Braxton Family Values” and will show the songstress’ upcoming show, “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life,” did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The singer and Adefeso’s “Coupled & Quarantined” web series did not air as intended Thursday, People reports.
Instead, the channel posted a 10-minute video with the statement: “Hello y’all, unfortunately, your girl Tamar is under the weather today and not feeling well so we need to postpone today’s show (don’t worry it’s not COVID).”
The statement notes a “great show” had been planned but will resume next week and be “even bigger and better. ... We’ll make it up to you next week.”

LET'S KEEP HER IN OUR PRAYERS
